INDICATIONS

Treatment and prevention of relapse of duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD)–associated oesophagitis.
Treatment of Zollinger–Ellison syndrome.
 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

• Gastric and Duodenal Ulcer 20 mg once daily (in severe cases, 40 mg once daily), duration of treatment is 4 weeks (duodenal ulcer) and 8 weeks (gastric ulcer) 
• Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD)–associated oesophagitis, including severe erosive oesophagitis: 20–40 mg once daily for 4–8 weeks, followed by maintenance therapy with 20 mg once daily.
• Zollinger – Ellison syndrome: the recommended starting dose is 60 mg once daily.
• Method of administration: should be taken before meals, and the tablets should be swallowed whole without chewing or crushing.
   

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any excipients.
