INDICATIONS

Treatment of hypertension. Treatment for the prevention of stable angina pectoris.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

The medicine should be taken in the morning, may be taken with a light meal, swallowed with plenty of water, and must not be chewed, crushed, or broken. 
Treatment of hypertension: Dosage should be adjusted according to inpidual patient response. Treatment should be initiated with a single daily dose of 5 mg. If necessary, the dose may be increased or another antihypertensive agent may be added. The usual maintenance dose is 5–10 mg/day. 
Prevention of stable angina pectoris: Dosage should be adjusted according to inpidual patient response. Treatment should be initiated with 5 mg once daily. If necessary, the dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily.
In patients with severe hepatic impairment or in elderly patients: The usual initial dose is 2.5 mg/day. Dose adjustments should be made cautiously with close monitoring of the patient’s blood pressure. The maximum dose is 5 mg/day.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to dihydropyridine or any component of the product. Acute myocardial infarction within the previous 1 month. Unstable angina pectoris.
Decompensated or uncontrolled heart failure.
Not to be used in pregnant women, suspected pregnancy, or breastfeeding women.
Renal impairment: No dose adjustment is required in patients with renal impairment.
