INDICATIONS
- Relief of mild to moderate musculoskeletal pain such as neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, muscle strain of the arms or calves, neck stiffness, arthritis, rheumatism, bursitis, sprains, and tendinitis.
- Relief of headache, dysmenorrhea, toothache, pain following tooth extraction, and minor surgical procedures.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
- Adults: Take 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed, or as directed by a physician.
- Children: Not to be used in children under 12 years of age.
- Elderly: Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration. Regular monitoring for adverse effects is recommended.
- Patients with hepatic or renal impairment: Undesirable effects may be minimized by using the lowest effective dose.
- Duration of use: Do not use for longer than 10 days unless directed by a physician.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Patients with hypersensitivity to acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or any of the excipients.
Acetaminophen
- Patients with recurrent anemia or with cardiac, pulmonary, renal, or hepatic disease.
- Patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.
Ibuprofen
- Patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions (bronchospasm, asthma, angioedema, rhinitis, urticaria) related to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
- Active peptic ulcer disease.
- History of NSAID-associated peptic ulceration or gastrointestinal perforation, or recurrent ulceration.
- Severe hepatic, renal, or cardiac impairment.
- Patients receiving coumarin anticoagulant therapy.
- Patients with congestive heart failure or collagen vascular disease.
Third trimester of pregnancy.
