INDICATIONS
Relief of pain associated with mild joint disorders, rheumatic pain or muscle pain, back pain, neuralgia, headache including migraine, toothache, dysmenorrhea, fever, and symptoms of the common cold and influenza.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
For oral use and short-term use only.
Adults, elderly, and children over 12 years of age:
Undesirable effects may be minimized by using the lowest effective dose of ibuprofen for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms. Patients should consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen, or if the product is required for more than 10 days.
Usual dose: 1 tablet x 3 times daily.
Doses should be taken at intervals of at least 4 hours, and no more than 3 tablets (1200 mg) should be taken within 24 hours.
Adolescents (12–18 years):
If treatment is required for more than 3 days, or if symptoms worsen, medical advice should be sought.
Children under 12 years of age: Not suitable for use.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any excipients in the product.
- Patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., asthma, rhinitis, angioedema, or urticaria) associated with ibuprofen, aspirin, or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
- Patients with active or a history of recurrent peptic ulcer and/or gastrointestinal bleeding (two or more distinct episodes of ulceration or bleeding).
- History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID therapy.
- Severe heart failure (NYHA class IV), severe renal impairment, or severe hepatic impairment.
- Third trimester of pregnancy.
- Children under 12 years of age.
