In response to the growing public health challenge of overweight and obesity, STADA Pymepharco, in collaboration with the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Association (VNCPA), successfully organized a series of intensive workshops in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi. Attended by nearly 300 pharmacists and leading medical experts, the event updated the latest medical knowledge and standardized clinical counseling skills.

Da Nang –  Practical Solutions for Central Vietnam

Kicking off the series on March 21, 2026, Dang Anh Dao, MD, PhD (Head of Nephrology & Endocrinology at Da Nang Hospital) delivered an insightful presentation on modern weight management. The workshop addressed real-world clinical challenges, where pharmacists engaged in active group discussions and mastered BMI assessment techniques to enhance personalized patient care. 

Ho Chi Minh City – Elevating Expertise from Clinical Foundations

On April 18, the seminar in Ho Chi Minh City emphasized the clinical excellence of Orlistat. Lam Van Hoang, MD, PhD (Tam Anh General Hospital) and Assoc. Prof. Bui Thi Huong Quynh, PharmD, PhD (Thong Nhat Hospital) presented in-depth medical data, effectively demonstrating the efficacy and safety of a scientific approach to weight management. The presence of STADA Pymepharco’s leadership further reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to serving as a trusted healthcare partner for the medical community. 

Hanoi – Transforming Knowledge into Pharmacy Practice

The final session on April 22 centered on the translation of clinical theory into practice. Trinh Ngoc Anh, MD, MSc, PhD Candidate (VinUniversity) led pharmacists through the critical transition from medical knowledge to high-impact counseling. Through interactive workshops and intensive Q&A sessions, Hanoi’s pharmacists gained the necessary confidence to manage complex, real-life patient cases at their pharmacies. 

The workshop series has concluded, but STADA Pymepharco’s journey of "Connecting Knowledge – Caring for the Community" continues. We believe that with deep professional understanding and a sense of responsibility, pharmacists will be the extended arm bringing scientific weight management information closer to every Vietnamese citizen.
