Vietnam stands as Germany’s largest trading partner in the EU, with bilateral trade surpassing €10.5 billion in 2023 – a remarkable testament to the ever-deepening bond between the two nations. As the sole wholly owned affiliate of STADA Group in Vietnam – one of the largest German investors in the country – STADA Pymepharco believes strongly in the power of collaboration to drive mutual growth and sustainable prosperity.
Hanoi, November 26, 2024 – Representatives from both STADA Group and STADA Pymepharco had the honor of attending the high-level forum “Germany and Vietnam – Partnership for Prosperity”, hosted by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam). The event was further honored by the presence of H.E. Helga Margarete Barth, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Vietnam, along with more than 130 distinguished guests, including representatives from various Vietnamese ministries, German and European organizations operating in Vietnam, and the broader Vietnam–Germany business community.

Our delegation was led by:
- Mr. Stéphane Jacqmin, Executive Vice President Emerging Markets of STADA Group
- Mr. Philippe Gautron, General Manager of STADA Pymepharco
- Mr. Bui Hong Minh, Head of Public Affairs & Communications at STADA Pymepharco

This momentous event not only marked the 30th anniversary of AHK Vietnam's presence in Hanoi, but also celebrated the strong, enduring partnership between Germany and Vietnam. It served as a valuable platform for open dialogue among government officials, business leaders, and trade associations – highlighting both past achievements and future cooperation opportunities.

As the two countries look ahead to the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2025, STADA Pymepharco is proud to contribute to this milestone through initiatives such as the “50 Years Vietnam–Germany” event series (#50VietDuc). These efforts aim to promote a forward-looking, emotionally resonant narrative of bilateral partnership – one that reflects not only economic cooperation, but also deeper cultural and societal connections.
We are honored to be part of this journey and remain committed to advancing the shared future of Germany and Vietnam.
