Ho Chi Minh City, November 29, 2024 | STADA Pymepharco is proud to be honoured among Vietnam’s Top 100 Sustainable Companies at the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) Awards 2024. This prestigious recognition places us in the top tier of more than 2,000 companies evaluated across the country, affirming our commitment to responsible business practices and long-term value creation.
The award is organized annually by the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), and the Central Economic Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Finalists were selected through a rigorous two-month review process based on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
Since becoming the sole wholly affiliate member in Vietnam of STADA Group (Germany) in 2021, STADA Pymepharco has steadily transitioned from a locally operated enterprise to one aligned with international management standards. Our integration into the STADA global network has allowed us to implement multinational best practices that deliver meaningful impact to our stakeholders – from environmental protection to community health and wellbeing.
2021–2023 Sustainability Milestones
Our efforts are driven by clear actions and measurable results. As of February 2024, key achievements include:
✅ Decarbonisation & Climate Change Mitigation
We tripled the use of renewable energy at our production sites, reaching 69,000 MWh in 2023 – up from 22,000 MWh in 2022. This has led to a 24.6% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, marking a significant step in our decarbonization journey.
✅ Sustainable Water Management
We reduced water consumption across our manufacturing operations and enhanced wastewater treatment systems to meet stricter environmental standards.
✅ Health & Safety Support for Local Communities
During times of natural disasters and emergencies, we provided essential medicines and humanitarian aid to support affected communities across Vietnam.
✅ ISO Certification & Compliance
We maintained compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards. Our safety culture is further supported by the implementation of 30 Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) governing hazardous materials, waste management, and fire protection.
