Every drop of blood you give can offer someone a second chance at life – yet everyday, the demand for blood in medical treatment remains consistently hig while hospitals across Vietnam still face shortages.
To meet medical needs nationwide, hospitals require 1,200 – 1,500 units of blood daily, but supply often falls short, especially in the Northern & Central Highlands regions. These shortages pose significant challenges for emergency care and life-saving treatments.
Although voluntary blood donation has grown strongly over the years, the gap between actual demand and available reserves remains substaintial. That’s why blood donation is not just an act of kindness – it’s a lifeline that keeps healthcare systems running and brings hope to thousands of patients nationwide.
💪 At STADA Pymepharco and STADA Group's affiliates worldwide, CaringDay is a moment for us to stand together with the Red Cross Societies across the world and other partners to support this meaningful cause.
On December 8, we encourage our colleagues to join the blood donation programme if they are eligible. And even for those who cannot donate, there are still many ways to be part of CaringDay – from supporting on-site activities and volunteering to simply helping spread the message of care.
Because when we come together as One STADA, every contribution – big or small – makes a real difference to our community!
