(Phu Yen News) – Founded in 1989 and officially became the sole wholly member of STADA Group (Germany) in 2021, STADA Pymepharco has achieved numerous significant milestones over the past 35 years. STADA Pymepharco is one of the Vietnam’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, operating two European GMP-certified manufacturing sites, including Betalactam tablet and Betalactam injection production lines at Pymepharco factory, and a Non-Betalactam tablet production line at STADA Vietnam factory.

With its first EU-GMP certification obtained in 2023, the second plant of STADA Pymepharco, commonly refer to as STADA Vietnam, is now considered one of the most advanced pharmaceutical factories in Vietnam, on par with regional and global standards. It plays a strategic role in STADA Group’s global supply chain and is fully equipped to export products to European countries.

Achieving EU-GMP Certification

In April 2023, STADA Pymepharco proudly held a ceremony to celebrate the first EU-GMP certification for the Non-Betalactam tablet production line at the STADA Vietnam Plant, located at 189 Hoang Van Thu, Ward 9, Tuy Hoa City. The event also marked the re-certification of EU-GMP standards for the Betalactam tablet and injection production lines at the first plan (commonly refer to as Pymepharco Plant) – located at 166-170 Nguyen Hue, Ward 7, Tuy Hoa City.

This milestone affirms STADA Pymepharco’s strong commitment to ensuring that Vietnamese citizens have access to high-quality, European-standard medicines at affordable prices right within their home country.

In addition to both plants achieving the highest standards in pharmaceutical production, STADA Pymepharco has also been certified for ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System), underscoring its long-term commitment to a safe workplace and environmental responsibility.

Human Resource Development & Community Engagement

STADA Pymepharco invests heavily in developing a qualified, dedicated workforce as a cornerstone for its sustainable growth, while also empowering talented young professionals by appointing them to key leadership roles. The company actively organizes training programs to enhance management capabilities and technical expertise. Over the past three years, numerous workshops have been held on production, sales skills, and goods management according to GSP and GDP standards, along with international exchange programs within the STADA global network.

In addition to providing the market with high quality, stable and consistent pharmaceutical products, STADA Pymepharco also focuses on accompanying the community and society.

At the end of 2023, the company was honored at the National Taxpayer Recognition Conference organized by the General Department of Taxation and the Ministry of Finance in Hanoi. This recognition highlighted STADA Pymepharco’s substantial contributions to the national budget during 2020–2022.

Notably, in collaboration with representatives of Phu Yen province, STADA Pymepharco made a strategic decision to relocate 50% of its customs declaration from Ho Chi Minh City to Tuy Hoa, starting in June 2023. By year-end, the company had contributed VND 17 billion in import-export taxes to the provincial budget, showcasing its commitment to local partnership and regional development.
