(SGGP) – On August 9, 2023, STADA Pymepharco officially inaugurated its new Commercial Representative Office, located at Pearl 5 Tower – No. 5 Le Quy Don, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
The inauguration of the new office in Ho Chi Minh City marks a key milestone for STADA Pymepharco as it continues to expand its footprint and operations in Vietnam.

During the ceremony, Mr. Peter Goldschmidt, CEO of STADA Group, remarked: “For over 30 years, STADA Pymepharco has been a trusted pillar in Vietnam’s healthcare system, and we are committed to an even stronger growth trajectory ahead. The opening of our Commercial Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City underscores our plan to scale up and strengthen our local team”.
Mr. Andriy Samoylovych, General Manager of STADA Pymepharco, added: “The opening of the new office also represents a strategic step forward in reinforcing the capabilities of our people and expanding our presence in one of Vietnam’s most dynamic economic centers”.

With the strong support of its partners, suppliers, and distribution networks, STADA Pymepharco is committed to ensure a stable and reliable medicine supply, demonstrating a strong commitment to the health and well-being of the Vietnamese people. The opening ceremony also highlights STADA Pymepharco’s commitment to exporting high-quality EU-GMP certified “Made in Vietnam” products, to the global market – contributing to the growth of Vietnam’s pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Peter Goldschmidt proudly shared: “At the heart of STADA Pymepharco are our EU-GMP certified manufacturing facilities in Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen. These plants not only produce billions of units annually, but also serve as a foundation for STADA’s long-term presence and scale-up strategy in Vietnam – a market of strategic importance. Notably, our newest facility has been approved by European authorities to manufacture pharmaceuticals for export to the EU, underscoring our world-class production capabilities in Vietnam”.

As part of the office opening ceremony, STADA Pymepharco also signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with FPT Long Chau. The partnership aims to enhance patient access to high-quality pharmaceutical products, including non-prescription medicines. Beyond ensuring a sustainable supply chain, the two companies will jointly implement pharmacist training programs to advance clinical knowledge, improve consultation quality, and strengthen practical skills – ultimately optimizing treatment outcomes for patients.
A meaningful highlight of the ceremony was a charitable initiative, co-organized with the Delegation of Commerce & Industry Vietnam (AHK Vietnam), where a hemodialysis machine was donated to Phu Yen General Hospital. This gesture demonstrates STADA Pymepharco's long-term commitment to accompanying the Vietnamese health sector in caring for the best way to improve the health of the Vietnamese community.

Mr. Marko Walde – Chief Representative of the German Industry and Commerce (AHK) in Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, shared: “Today’s event is a strong testament to Vietnam’s appeal as an attractive and strategic destination for high-value manufacturing in promising industries. It also highlights the positive impact of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) on fostering bilateral trade and investment between Germany and Vietnam. The growth of investors like STADA, along with their ongoing commitments will undoubtedly contribute substantial value to the country’s healthcare system”.
