That was affirmed by H.E. Dao My, Vice Chairman of Phu Yen People’s Committee, during a courtesy meeting with representatives from STADA Group and STADA Pymepharco recently held at the provincial headquarters. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee and related departments.
At the meeting, STADA Group expressed appreciation for the attention of the provincial leaders to the company’s activities. STADA is a global pharmaceutical group with a presence in multiple countries, including Vietnam. Since 2002, STADA has made significant investments in Vietnam, including the construction of two EU-GMP standard pharmaceutical factories in Phu Yen. Currently, STADA Pymepharco has a portfolio of about 400 prescription and consumer healthcare products. In June 2024, the company successfully exported its first shipment of pharmaceutical products manufactured in Vietnam to the European market. STADA Pymepharco aims to achieve 22% growth in 2024 compared to 2023, driven by innovation and strategic planning.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Vice Chairman Dao My congratulated STADA Group on its achievements. He expressed hope that STADA Pymepharco will continue expanding its operations, creating more job opportunities for local workers and contributing to Phu Yen’s development. He also emphasized the importance of complying with environmental regulations during business operations and affirmed the province’s commitment to supporting and facilitating the company. Sharing information about the province’s potential and development orientation, Mr. Dao My encouraged STADA Group to consider expanding investments in sectors beyond healthcare in Phu Yen in the future.
