The moment I received my offer letter from STADA Pymepharco (STADA Group), a wave of excitement and anticipation washed over me. I was acutely aware that this new chapter in my career would bring with it a host of challenges and opportunities for growth. From the outset, I was prepared to embrace the unknown and adapt to the dynamic environment that awaited me.
Upon joining STADA Pymepharco, I was immediately thrust into a whirlwind of new responsibilities, tasks, new talents, and managerial styles. The initial period was marked by a steep learning curve as I acclimated to the company’s culture and operational framework. Within my first month, I faced the unique challenge of adapting to two different line managers, each with their own distinct management styles and expectations. This rapid transition demanded flexibility and resilience, qualities that I had to cultivate quickly.
The journey was not without its hurdles. The stress of navigating a new workplace, conflict of interest between different departments, coupled with the complexities of managing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, often felt overwhelming. During those moments when the pressure seemed insurmountable, and the thought of quitting crossed my mind every single morning. However, I anchored myself with a powerful daily affirmation: “It gets easier. Every day it gets a little easier, but you got to do it every day. That’s the hard part. But it does get easier”.
This mantra became my guiding light, helping me to persevere through the toughest days. I am profoundly grateful for the support I received from the universe, which manifested in various forms. Additionally, the encouragement and assistance from colleagues across different departments played a crucial role in my journey. Their support reinforced my belief in the power of collaboration and collective effort.
With a steadfast commitment to personal and professional growth, I tackled each obstacle with determination and a positive outlook. The initial difficulties gradually gave way to a sense of accomplishment as I began to achieve the goals set by my manager. This experience has underscored the importance of resilience, adaptability, and a Growth Mindset in overcoming challenges – enabling me to contribute to our leadership team’s vision and help STADA Pymepharco achieving its business target.
