INDICATIONS

Supportive treatment for symptoms of flatulence, functional gastric bloating/distension, and postoperative gas pain.
Also indicated for self-medication (over-the-counter use) to relieve bloating and discomfort caused by excess gas in the gastrointestinal tract, such as upper abdominal fullness, heaviness, abdominal distension, and indigestion.
 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Route: For oral use. Chew thoroughly before swallowing. Take the medicine after meals and before bedtime.
Dosage: 
Adults and children ≥12 years: Simethicone 40–125 mg per dose, 4 times daily.
For self-medication, do not exceed 500 mg/day. Higher doses (e.g., 250 mg per dose, 3–4 times daily, or up to 2 g/day) may be used under medical supervision.
Children 2–12 years: 40 mg per dose, 4 times daily. Maximum for self-medication: 240 mg/day.
Children <2 years: 20 mg per dose, 4 times daily. Maximum for self-medication: 120 mg/day. . For doses <80 mg, a 40 mg tablet or an oral suspension may be used to allow appropriate dose adjustment.
 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to Simethicone or any component of the product.
Known or suspected intestinal perforation or obstruction.
