INDICATIONS

Relief of nasal congestion, rhinitis, recurrent nasal inflammation (including the common cold), and sinusitis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Do not use Snup STADA Spray 0.1% in children under 12 years of age.
Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days (see section Warnings and Precautions).
Do not exceed the recommended dose, particularly in children and elderly patients.

It is recommended to use the last dose immediately before bedtime. 

Method of use
The metered spray delivers an accurate dose, ensuring even distribution of the solution over the surface of the nasal mucosa. This helps prevent local irritation.
Each actuation of Snup STADA Spray 0.1% delivers approximately 0.09 mL of solution, corresponding to 0.09 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride.
Before first use, or if the product has not been used for more than 3 days, prime the spray by pumping several times into the air until a uniform mist is produced.

Instructions for use:

  1. Clean the nose gently.
  2. Hold the bottle upright with the thumb under the base and the spray nozzle between two fingers.
  3. Insert the nozzle into the nostril while keeping the bottle upright.
  4. Spray gently while breathing in lightly through the nose.
  5. Clean and dry the nozzle before replacing the cap immediately after use.
  6. To avoid cross-infection, each bottle should be used by one person only.

Avoid contact with the eyes.
 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Hypersensitivity to xylometazoline or to any of the excipients of the medicinal product.
  • Patients who have undergone transsphenoidal hypophysectomy or other surgical procedures involving exposure of the dura mater.
  • Patients with glaucoma (closed-angle glaucoma).
  • Patients with dry rhinitis or atrophic rhinitis.
  • Children under 12 years of age.
  • Patients with pheochromocytoma, hyperthyroidism, or those receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), or within 14 days after discontinuation of MAOI therapy.
