INDICATIONS

Allergic rhinitis: relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) in patients aged 12 years and older, including sneezing, rhinorrhea, pruritus, nasal congestion, ocular itching, tearing, and redness. Chronic idiopathic urticaria: relief of pruritus and rash in patients aged 12 years and older with chronic idiopathic urticaria.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Food does not affect the bioavailability of the medicine; therefore, desloratadine tablets may be taken with or without meals. Recommended dose for adults and children aged 12 years and older: 1 tablet once daily. 
For patients with hepatic impairment or renal impairment, the initial dose is 1 tablet/day, administered every other day.
 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Patients with hypersensitivity to loratadine, desloratadine, or any component of the product.
