INDICATIONS

For respiratory conditions associated with thick, viscous mucus, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, and for routine airway clearance in patients with a tracheostomy.
Also indicated as a mucolytic agent in patients with cystic fibrosis.
 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Adults and children >7 years old: Take 1 sachet three times daily. 
Children 2–7 years: Take 1 sachet twice daily.

• Method of administration: 
• Dissolve the contents in 50 mL of water before use.
• After exposure to air, the solution should be stored at 2–8°C to slow oxidation and used within 96 hours.
• The diluted solution should be prepared immediately before use and remains stable for 1 hour only.
   

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to Acetylcysteine.
History of asthma.
Phenylketonuria.
Children under 2 years of age.
